At the top of the Sources tab, you'll find three sections that give you a broad, immediate picture of citation activity across your project, before you dive into more granular filtering.
Citation Trends
Citation Trends is the chart at the top of the Sources tab, showing how citations of the most frequently used sources have changed over time, based on AI responses to the prompts defined in your project. This is a good place to start when you notice a shift in your brand's position, since it can help you connect that change to a rise or drop in a specific source's citation activity.
For the clearest read, we recommend analyzing this chart, and the rest of the Sources tab, filtered to one specific AI model at a time, rather than only looking at the combined view across all models.
Domains per Model
Right below that, Domains per Model shows the most frequently cited domains for each individual AI model, side by side, without needing to apply any filter first. It's the fastest way to see, right when you open the tab, which sources each model relies on most.
Citation Types
Further down, Citation Types breaks down the kinds of sources AI models cited when answering your project's prompts, for example whether they leaned on competitor websites, editorial content, video, user-generated content, or your own domain.
