Prompt Tags

Group related prompts together to analyze them as one

Written by Urszula Kucińska

If your project tracks a lot of prompts, especially ones covering different themes or topics, it helps to be able to look at a specific subset of them instead of everything at once. That's exactly what prompt tags are for. A tag is simply a named group of prompts, and once you've created one, you can filter your Sources, Context, and Overview data down to that group alone.

Step 1: Create a Tag

Go to the Prompts tab and click Create prompt tag. Give it a name and pick a color, then click Create.

Step 2: Select the Prompts You Want to Group

Click on Manage selected prompts on the right corner. Check the box next to each prompt you want to add to the tag. You can select as many as you need.

Step 3: Move the Prompts Into the Tag

Drag and drop the selected prompts onto the tag, or click Move prompt to tag and choose the tag from the list.

Step 4: You're Done

Your prompts are now grouped under that tag. From here, you can analyze Sources, Context, and Overview either for all of your prompts combined, or filtered down to a specific tag using the group dropdown next to your project name.

Why This Is Useful

As a project grows, it becomes harder to draw conclusions from a single combined view of everything. Tags let you sort your prompts however makes sense for your analysis, by topic, by campaign, by product line, and then look at sources, sentiment, or positioning for just that slice of your data. That makes it much easier to spot patterns that would otherwise get lost in a project with dozens of prompts covering very different things.
