Brand Score
Brand Score measures the strength of your brand specifically within the responses where it was actually recommended by an AI model. In other words, it only looks at prompts where your brand appeared, and evaluates how strongly it was positioned there.
Brand Score also takes Visibility into account as part of its calculation, so it reflects not just how well you performed when mentioned, but also how consistently you're showing up.
Average Position
Average Position is the average rank your brand holds across all the responses to the prompts defined in your project, whenever it appears among the recommendations. A lower number means your brand tends to be recommended earlier, closer to the top of the answer.
Visibility
Visibility measures how often your brand appears in AI responses at all, regardless of where it ranks. It doesn't care whether you were recommended first or last, only whether you were mentioned.
It's calculated as:
Visibility = (Responses to your project's prompts that mention your brand ÷ Total responses to your project's prompts) × 100
This makes Visibility the clearest indicator of overall presence, while Brand Score and Average Position tell you more about how well you perform once you're already part of the conversation.
Where You'll See These Metrics
All three metrics are shown at the top of your project's Overview page, and are plotted over time in the Brand Score & Visibility chart so you can track how they trend week over week.
Brand Score, Average Position, and Visibility are also shown in the Brands ranking table, letting you compare all three side by side against your competitors.
Visibility additionally appears in the Key Prompts table, so you can see, prompt by prompt, how often your brand actually shows up.
